A big second half comeback gave the Philadelphia Soul (10-1) a 62-41 victory over the New Orleans VooDoo (2-9) in front of 8,197 in Philadelphia at the Rothman Field at Wells Fargo Center Saturday night.
Ken Harper has been given an opportunity for that kind of role at the NFL level by the New York Giants.
Harper had to get through a tryout he was invited to as part of Big Blue’s Rookie Camp. The 6-foot, 225
pounder did not have a contract, just an opportunity, which he seized. Harper was impressive enough to get a free agent contract and a long look through the summer to see if he can land a spot with the Giants.
