PICK NO.1 TAMPA BAY JAMEIS WINSTON
QB FLORIDA ST. Get the quarterback and go.
PICK NO.2 TENNESSEE RANDY GREGORY OLB NEBRASKA. In a game where you must put pressure on the quarterback, Gregory could be the next Jason Taylor.
PICK NO.3 JACKSONVILLE DANTE FOWLER, JR. OLB FLORIDA. The Jaguars addressed their offensive line and tight end issues in free agency. Now Gus Bradley gets a sack artist to pump up the defense.
PICK NO.4 OAKLAND KEVIN WHITE WR WEST VIRGINIA. Derek Carr is worthy of building around. The Raiders need to get him a No. 1 wide receiver to grow with in Oakland.
PICK NO.5 WASHINGTON SHANE RAY DE MISSOURI. Ryan Kerrigan made the transition to OLB. Ray can do the same thing to fill the void left by Brian Orakpo.
PICK NO.6 NYJ TODD GURLEY RB GEORGIA. Gurley is my No. 1 player in this draft. All other positions have been filled except for running back.
PICK NO.7 CHICAGO TRAE WAYNES CB MICHIGAN ST. You have to start building somewhere. Waynes gives John Fox and Vic Fangio a building block.
PICK NO.8 ATL LEONARD WILLIAMS DE USC. The Falcons need to continue building a strong defensive front. Adrian Clayborn is a nice start. Williams would upgrade even more.
PICK NO.9 NYG DANNY SHELTON NT WASHINGTON. Look at all the strong rushing attacks in the NFC East. The Giants have to find a way to stop them.
PICK NO.10 STL LA’EL COLLINS OT LSU Protection for Nick Foles is paramount, and the Rams know all too well what it’s like to play without a No. 1 QB.
PICK NO. 11 MINNESOTA AMARI COOPER WR ALABAMA Norv Turner will make Cooper into a star with his deep passing game.
PICK NO.12 CLEVELAND MARCUS MARIOTA QB OREGON. Eventually, the Browns will get this position
correct, although Mariota is anything but a sure thing.
PICK NO.13 NEW ORLEANS DEVANTE PARKER WR LOUISVILLE.The Saints sent Jimmy Graham to Seattle. They have to somehow find a way to replace his production.
PICK NO. 14 MIAMI MARCUS PETERS CB WASHINGTON. Don’t let up on the defensive gas now. Keep building around Ndamukong Suh.
PICK NO.15 SAN FRANCISCO BRANDON SCHERFF OG IOWA. The 49ers lost Mike Iupati to Arizona, but can replace him with a plug-and-play.
PICK NO. 16 HOUSTON VIC BEASLEY OLB CLEMSON. Brooks Reed goes to Atlanta. Now the Texans have to find a way to get this athlete on the field.
PICK NO.17 SAN DIEGO MELVIN GORDON RB WISCONSIN Ryan Mathews never was able to stay healthy, and the Chargers need to find a healthy replacement.
PICK NO. 18 KANSAS CITY CAMERON ERVING C FLORIDA ST. Lose one Seminole (Rodney Hudson) to the Raiders, replace him with another.
PICK NO.19 CLE T.J. CLEMMINGS OT PITTSBURGH. Upgrading the offensive line is part of Mike Pettine’s plan.
PICK NO.20 EAGLES LANDON COLLINS SS ALABAMA. The Eagles have a glaring hole at safety. Collins is the best player at his position in this draft.
PICK NO.21 CINCINNATI ARIK ARMSTEAD DT OREGON. The Bengals have to continue to build inside the trenches; they have lost a lot there the last two years.
PICK NO.22 PITTSBURGH BUD DUPREE OLB KENTUCKY. Dupree is an athletic freak and the Steelers will need him to replace Jason Worilds.
PICK NO.23 DETROIT ANDRUS PEAT OT STANFORD. Uncertainty exists with the injury to LaAdrian Waddle at right tackle.
PICK NO. 24 ARIZONA JALEN COLLINS CB LSU. With Antonio Cromartie heading back to the Jets, the Cardinals reunite Tyrann Mathieu with LSU’s Collins.
PICK NO. 25 CAROLINA D.J. HUMPHRIES OT FLORIDA. Cam Newton needs better protection, and Humphries can play either tackle position.
PICK NO. 26 BALTIMORE DORIAL GREEN-BECKHAM WR MISSOURI. Steve Smith will turn 36 in May. Torrey Smith is in San Francisco. Time to get bigger, stronger, younger, faster.
PICK NO. 27 DALLAS EDDIE GOLDMAN DT FLORIDA ST. You have to stop the running game in the NFC East. This is not a sexy pick, but neither was Zack Martin last year.
PICK NO.28 DENVER JORDAN PHILLIPS NT OKLAHOMA. Time to beef up a depleted defensive line.
PICK NO.29 INDIANAPOLIS ERECK FLOWERS OT MIAMI. The Colts have addressed all other areas in free agency. Give Andrew Luck protection and he will do the rest.
PICK NO.30 GREEN BAY BENARDRICK MCKINNEY ILB MISSISSIPPI ST. There’s no doubt the Packers are looking to upgrade their linebacking corps. This pick allows Clay Matthews to stay outside.
PICK NO.31 NEW ORLEANS DENZEL PERRYMAN ILB MIAMI. So many holes, but the undersized Perryman allows the Saints to replace Curtis Lofton.
PICK NO. 32 NEW ENGLAND JAELEN STRONG WR ARIZONA STATE. Tom Brady deserves more help. Size and speed are always good assets.
