Five players were placed on injured reserve: offensive linemen Geoff Schwartz (ankle) and Adam Snyder (knee), defensive ends Mathias Kiwanuka (knee) and Robert Ayers (pectoral), and linebacker Terrell Manning (ankle).
That group increases the number of Giants players on injured reserve to 20, including rookie Bennett Jackson, who is on practice squad/injured list.

LOSSES HIT DEEP WITH COUGHLIN, GIANTS PLAYERS

Tom Coughlin has coached the Giants for 11 seasons and in the NFL for 19, and when you are in the job that long, losing streaks are unavoidable. A 25-24 loss yesterday to the Jacksonville Jaguars left a Coughlin-coached team with a losing streak of at least seven games for the third time in his distinguished career. His 1995 expansion Jaguars lost seven in a row and in 2004, his first Giants team dropped eight consecutive games.

EAGLES THUMP TITANS, LOOK FORWARD TO DALLAS

There is nothing like facing a last-place team a week after getting the stuffing knocked out of you.
The Tennessee Titans provided the relief as the Eagles jumped out to a 17-0 lead in the first quarter and never looked back, cruising to a win 43-24 win and improving their record 8-3 and setting up their Thanksgiving showdown in Dallas.

But history has shown Manning and the Giants usually respond well after his big-interception games. In the follow-up contests after his first 18 three-pick outings, Manning threw no interceptions eight times, one interception six times and two picks twice. Only twice did he follow a three-interception game with another (one was a four-pick game). Manning threw five interceptions last Dec. 15 vs. Seattle and just one the following week in Detroit.
