The Philadelphia Soul (16-4) attempted to tie up the game in the last two seconds with Dan Raudabaugh’s 14-yard pass into the end zone, but was intercepted by Jacksonville (12-8) leaving the final score 61-56 in front of 9,378 fans on the Rothman Field at the Wells Fargo Center on Sunday night. NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported last Monday’s edition of NFL Total Access that Eli Manning wants to be the highest paid player in the NFL.
Manning, who has led the Giants to two Super Bowl titles, signed a six-year, $97.5 million extension in 2009.
It expires at the end of the 2015 season.
