Smyrna is the Footballstories Magazine 2015 Team of the Year for Delaware.
When the Smyrna High School coaching staff got together to plan the 2015 season, they realized that, with all the offensive starters returning, and with talent like junior Nolan Henderson at quarterback and an emerging standout sophomore running back in Will Knight, plus a defensive leader in lineman Jeff Campbell, Judy and his staff knew they had something special in front of them.

NFL Teams are scrambling for quarterbacks, in a draft season that shows little promise
By Tim Blasco
Philadelphia, PA; March 2, 2016 – Philadelphia has its fair share of problems. When one looks at the roster it leaves a lot to be desired. One position that is never an easy fill is the Quarterback position especially when a team is looking for a franchise quarterback. In Philadelphia’s case it seems like they just needed a quarterback. Let me explain. Keep in mind that the worst word in sports is potential, its especially terrible in a contract negotiation.

The Eagles announced today they have agreed to terms on a two-year contract with QB Sam Bradford.
The total value of the deal is $36 million, $26 million guaranteed. Reports say playoff bonuses could push the contract to $40 million.
The deal gives Bradford near elite money per year, while the Eagles must feel safe with just two seasons committed to a quarterback who has had significant injuries prior to coming to Philadelphia.
It appears both parties came away winners.

Good afternoon. We finally got our coaching staff together – got a full roster of coaches now. Coach McAdoo and the coaches have hit the ground running and they’ve been working hard looking at free agents and obviously starting on the Draft. Our personnel department is working hard as well. Our scouts are here and our pro personnel guys are working hard on free agency back at Quest (Quest Diagnostics Training Center). I’ll open up for any questions.

After helping his team win Super Bowl 50, one of the first things Denver Broncos kicker Brandon McManus said he wants to do this offseason is pay a visit to North Penn High School, where his career started about a decade ago. The Knights football program gave him the opportunity to hone his skills — physically and mentally – to arrive where he did on February 7, 2016…A World Champion. He also made the Temple football program stand tall on the sport’s biggest stage.
