With this win, the Soul continue their 15-game winning streak at home and have clinched home field advantage for the 2017 AFL Postseason. Should the Soul advance to ArenaBowl XXX, the game will be held at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia.

Soul trailed by one, 56-55 with 35 seconds left when their defense forced Baltimore quarterback Shane Carden to fumble. Former Temple standout defensive end Sean Daniels ran it in for a 39-yard touchdown with 0:33 seconds left in the game. Failed two-point conversion attempt left the Soul in the lead 61-56. The Brigade is turned the ball over on downs with eight seconds left. Soul win 61-56.

SOUL HOST BALTIMORE BRIGADE IN HOME OPENER

The Soul open their 2017 home schedule at the Wells Fargo Center Saturday night April 29 (7:00 p.m.) against the Baltimore Brigade just as the NFL will be ending its three-day draft extravaganza on the other end of town.
While the NFL is busting out in a very direction in popularity, the Arena Football League is doing its best to climb the mountain once again and be a relevant football league at the minor league level.
After years of decline, the league appears to have a solid strategy going into 2017.
Former Eagles Quarterback Donovan McNabb and Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco will be making an appearance.

EAGLES FINISH PRESEASON 4-0 BUT WITH SUSPENSION CLOUD HOVERING OVER TEAM

Eagles Head Coach Doug Pederson is caught between a rock and a hard place with regards to tackle Lane Johnson.
The 6-foot-6, 317-pounder signed a five-year contract this offseason, that according to spotrac.com, was worth a total of $56,260,000.00 with $35,500.000.00 of it guaranteed. That was until Johnson failed a second test for PEDs just as training camp opened.
He tested positive for a banned substance but his suspension is not official until the results of a second urine sample come through. Those results have still not been announced by the NFL.
